Initial Snake Hibernaculum Surveys

Service Description

A detailed initial habitat survey to determine snake hibernacula potential. Any highlighted areas will require two Follow-up Snake Hibernacula Surveys (Follow up surveys must occur in April-May 15 or September to October 15) to determine the snake presence detection at these locations. This survey may require additional hours with additional cost depending on the size of the assessment area, the associated terrain and travel time to the site. Trips more than 50 km from Penticton may be subject to additional mileage fees at standard rates. Provide the assessment area to mike.dunn@bigpicturebiology.ca for a total estimated project cost. All projects are estimated based on an average project estimation. In rare cases the scale of the project may exceed the number of hours in the estimate. In such cases, the extra hours will be billed at the standard hourly rate outlined in the 1 hr of unspecified field work listed above.
