Watercourse Development Permit

Service Description

A Watercourse Development Permit will allow for the appropriate field verification of watercourses on a property and their appropriate application for potential development near or within their boundaries. The main goal of these surveys will be to classify the watercourses so that they can properly be assessed by the regional/municipal offices. Desktop assessment will occur using the Freshwater atlas, provincial databases, and previous reports. Trips more than 50 km from Penticton may be subject to additional mileage fees at standard rates. Prices include 5% GST (GST # 743529877RT001). All projects are estimated based on an average project estimation. In rare cases the scale of the project may exceed the number of hours in the estimate. In such cases, the extra hours will be billed at the standard hourly rate outlined in the 1 hr of unspecified field work listed above.
